Intersec Forum and Light + Building 2018
Intersec Forum 2018 moves to the new exhibition focus on security and building technologies in hall 9.1
In its annual frequency, the Intersec Forum in 2018 takes place in parallel to Light + Building, the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building-services technology – presenting an extended programme of contents.
The Intersec Forum, putting its visionary focus on the current challenges of connecting security technology solutions in modern building technology, has an extended programme of five conference days with international experts: Featuring all relevant aspects of digital security technology, the Intersec Forum will see to also seek maximal vicinity to the exhibition focus in the very centre of the Light + Building global trade fair on exhibition days Monday to Friday (19 to 23 March 2018).
With around 150 exhibitors from the fields of building automation and safety and security technology, the conference Intersec Forum and the new ‘Secure – Connected Security in Buildings’ special show, Hall 9.1 forms the heart of the integrated building-services technology sector.
There, the focus is on connectivity and interfaces between the various disciplines. Accordingly, several companies are showing smart-home and smart-building solutions in addition to presentations by the building-standard organisations, such as LON, BACnet, EnOcean, Z-Wave and KNX. Additionally, the ‘Secure!’ special show presents innovative electrical security products in a realistic setting with fully interconnected safety, security and building-services products and systems. Altogether, more than 40 companies are taking part with their products, solutions and services.
Moreover, leading manufacturers from the safety and security technology and home and building automation segments are presenting their innovations in other halls at Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre. An overview of the location and product spectrum of suppliers in the safety and security technology segment can be found in the ‘Guide to Safety and Security Technology’.
